Well hello there boys and girls, it's that time of the year again where the flowers are blooming (well at least on the clothes it is) and the sun is shining (it is always shining with unbearable heat in Jakarta) and the designers are going mad with flower power. Yes it is spring time again. Where colors are nothing to be afraid of, racks of clothes in super bright colors and colorful prints are at its full swing. This week Nina Nikicio had just debut her newest Femme 2012 collection, and let's just say that we are falling in love with her collection just as like she is (right now) falling in love with a certain DJ. Yes, "Falling in love is a bad sign for designers. The next thing you know, they are doing florals and brighter than the sun colors."
Well hello there boys and girls, waktu itu telah datang kembali, waktu dimana bunga bermekaran (setidaknya di pakaian terlihat demikian) dan matahri bersinar dengan terik (di Jakarta matahari selalu bersinar dengan terik yang tidak tertahankan) dan para desainer telah menjadi gila dengan flower power. Musim Spring datang kembali. Dimana warna bukanlah hal yang untuk ditakutkan, dimana begitu banyak pakaian-pakaian dalam warna terang dan hidup, dan berbagai macam desain hadir dalam berbagai corak yang hidup. Minggu ini Nina Nikicio baru saja meluncurkan koleksi Femme 2012 miliknya, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa kami jatuh cinta dengan koleksinya ini sama sebagaimana Nina sedang jatuh cinta dengan seorang DJ saat mendesainnya. Yes, "Falling in love is a bad sign for designers. The next thing you know, they are doing florals and brighter than the sun colors."
The show was held on Wednesday, 21st March 2012, right in the middle of Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week. It was a rad affair where beautifully dressed people are in presence to celebrate this whimsical collection. Beautiful pieces in deep blue, bright pink, and colorful abstract flower prints are shown with such edge and effortless chic. All the models are your typical it-girls, girls that everyone want to hang out with. Simple silhouette are accentuate into overdrive of chic-ness by using flirty prints. Tapered pants in flower prints, sheer pants in deep blue, and ruffled white shirts makes all the look a wearable everyday pieces that ladies would kill for. Pertunjukan diadakan pada hari Rabu, 21 Maret 2012, tepat di tengah acara Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week. Acara tersebut sangatlah penuh dengan daya tarik yang tiada bandingnya, dimana tamu yang ada berpakaian begitu menariknya untuk menyambut datangnya koleksi baru yang begitu whimsical. Desain dalam warna deep blue, bright pink dan corak floral yang abstrak ditampilkan untuk memberikan edge dan memberikan daya tarik effortless chic. Seluruh model yang ditampilkan juga merupakan personifikasi dari tipikal it-girls, girls that everyone wants to hang out with. Silhouette simple ditingkatkan dengan daya tarik chic-ness dengan menggunakan corak yang flirty. Tapered pants dalam corak bunga, celana sheer dalam deep blue, dan kemeja putih ruffled menunjukan bagaimana seluruh koleksi ini adalah koleksi yang begitu wearable.
It's a sin not to share the savviness of these indie talents with the rest of the world.
