Hello again! Yes, long have we been M.I.A but we always do aspire to never disappoint. Thus why in this new post we decide to bring you a terribly great news. Well your answer better be 'yes' for two of the greatest fashion designer of the moment is collaborating with the masses to provide an affordable luxury at your doorstep. An affordable luxury by Isabel Marant and Rick Owens that is. Here are the low down.
After collaborating with fashion giants such as Maison Martin Margiela, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alber Elbaz of Lanvin, H&M; the Swedish Giant Retailer is now in the works of collaborating with the Queen of Parisian Boho-Chic/Rocker-Chic; Isabel Marant. For you Indonesia's fashion 'don't-know-it-all' people but one who aspires 'to-know-it-all', Isabel Marant is the premiere designer of urban wear aesthetics that is thick with Parisian flair. Known for her bohemian aesthetics of boyish knit jacket and rocker chic of her fine leather fringed jacket, Isabel Marant is the epitome of non-chalant girls who only wears a touch of make-up, and only fingers through her hair but still look undeniably jaw-dropping in her velcro-tied sneaker, knitted mini skirt, paired with a sheer top, and fringed lambskin leather jacket. Hence, with that magnitude of style flair, it is only wise to say that all Indonesian fashion aspiring people must learn to familiarize themselves with the name that is; Isabel Marant. The collaboration is set to be released on November 2013 and it is also the premiere of the first men's line collection. Beware beware of the ready to wear.

Untuk kalian, kaula fesyen Indonesia yang tidak tahu apa-apa, tetapi beraspirasi untuk mengetahui segalanya, Isabel Marant merupakan desainer pakaian urban dengan gaya Parisian yang kental. Dikenal melalui gaya bohemia dan rockernya, Isabel Marant merupakan titik puncak dari representasi sekumpulan gadis Paris yang sangatlah santai tetapi tetap tough dengan gaya rocker and bohemianya. Koleksi H&M bersama Isabel Marant akan mulai diperjualbelikan bulan November 2013 mendatang, dimana Isabel Marant pun akan mengeluarkan lini pakaian pria pertamanya.
On the other hand, another great news for you bubba out there Rick Owens is also releasing an 'affordable luxury' collection in his collaboration with Adidas. And the reason of such collaboration is more personal than you thought. Rick Owens admit his liking for the sport of running but he finds it hard to see himself in a big chunky basketball/running shoes. So he thought, 'why not call Adidas and ask them to make me some?', hence the collaboration emerge. Leather, Nylon, Suede, Canvas may not seem to be durable materials for sport shoes, but we think that is not a problem for those mod-mad people out there. Indonesia style forward people, beware! The collection is set to be released later in this month with retail price ranging from $400-$500, a bargain compared to his standard $1600 basketball shoe with the Rick Owens label.
Di sisi lain, berita gembira lainnya bagi para lelaki di sana, Rick Owens juga tengah dalam kerja sama untuk mengeluarkan lini sepatu dengan Adidas. Alasan kolaborasi tersebut pun ternyata lebih personal dibandingkan perkiraan orang. Mengapa? Rick Owens mengaku bahwa beliau menyukai olahraga berlari, tetapi seluruh sepatu basket dan lari yang dikenakannya cenderung membuat dirinya terlihat kecil, sehingga ia berpikir 'mengapa tidak telpon Adidas saja dan meminta kerja sama?" Kulit, Nylon, Suede, dan Kanvas merupakan beberapa bahan bagi koleksi ini, dimana harga per satu sepatu diperkirakan berkisar antara $400-$500.
