"An utterly rad collection it was!"
                       -Jo Reiner Wijaya

In the midst of a complete pandemonium where invitees and medias were swarming congratulatory greets, whilst buyers were flipping through the divine Le Printemps collection, and when models were piling up the backstage as flashes of cameras were snapping through the midsize industrial space of GoodsDept Cafe, Miss Nina Nikicio, the maestro was particularly full of grace and calm, accepting greets and be taken in photographs. This petite figure was exceptionally calm, smiling and accepting praises for what would be another great collection by The House of Nikicio, standing still in her loose silk shirt with knit prints, paired with a black tapered pants and a what seems to be a black clog.

You can't help but notice the degree of awesomeness that existed in that midsize industrial inspired warehouse. It was a space filled with people as cool as Ein Halid the Editor in Chief of Nylon Indonesia, Rama Adrianus of Danjyo Hiyoji, Yosafat Dwi Kurniwan of Yosafat Fashion House, the phenomenal petite fashion blogger/designer Evita Nuh, Leonard Theosabrata the co-founder of GoodsDept, Madame Minnie Adjie one of Indonesia's chicest woman, and lots of uber cool bloggers such as Arnold Tedja, Renny Ruth Roren, and Luthfi Darwis.  It was surely an awesome crowd and one badass affair, and it only proofs one thing Nikicio really is the label for the coolest people with the coolest style.

"Chic with a rebellious twist..."
                       -Arnold Tedja

The first look was this utterly rad two piece look worn by this perfectly tanned girl with a grunge-styled hair, and natural-almost nude make up wearing a rather eye catching yellow short, with this body hugging cropped top with an oversize cape-like back. Accessorized with a hightop black sneakers and what seemed to be a casio gold watch completed with a indian-esque kandura ceramic necklace. The first look was screaming androgynous, sexy, yet effortless, which is what Nikicio is aiming for.

"a laid back skater girl with effortless style, a nomad, a light-traveller"
                       -Nina Nikicio

It was an exceptionally awesome collection, with the clever usage of fancy fabrics such as: silk with heavy norwegian knittings pattern, lamb, and baby goat leather, knitted cotton and wool. Nikicio still uses her classic natural color scheme; black, grey, and white, these colors still dominates the Mixte Vol.7 collection. The feel of the collection was totally refreshing, seeing how in her last collection Miss Nina displayed all black collection, now she's giving us little splashes of colors that's suitable for spring and summer. You can't deny that there's a little bit influence from Maison Martin Margiela, and Comme des Garcon somewhere in between her designs, the usage of the boxy silhouette, and the color scheme screams the identity of these two legendary fashion houses. What's different is that Nikicio made it wearable, and appropriate for conventional countries such as Indonesia.

Another piece that caught our eyes was this look, of a model rocking a white shirt topped with a loose grey jersey sweater, and paired with a slit floor length skirt made out of silk with norwegian knitting prints on it. Accessorized with  neon socks and white sneakers.

And of course the ultimate look was the closing look. Which was this awesome deconstructive top piece with thousands of ceramics beading on it, paired with a bleached unraveling denim and white sneakers with white socks. It was utterly The Look. There's not even an iota of doubt that this will be another successful season by Ms.Nina Nikicio.
